If you live in Turkey and need a short-stay (Type C) Schengen visa, you apply through the consulate of your main destination country, and you book the appointment at an application centre run by VFS Global, iData, BLS International or TLScontact. xVisa monitors availability at these centres around the clock, uses AutoBooking to secure the earliest appointment near you, checks your documents against consulate requirements and stays with you until the decision. The consulate makes the visa decision; we speed up the process and take the stress off you. Whether you hold a Turkish passport or another passport with a valid Turkish residence permit, you can apply through application centres in Ankara, Istanbul, Izmir and more. xVisa scans every centre at the same time, catches the first available date and prepares your file to consulate standards. Honest service, the same for everyone: no queue-jumping and no priority slots for sale.

Schengen visa from Türkiye — by country

Apply for a Schengen visa from Turkey with xVisa — visa centres, document checklists, appointment booking and end-to-end support, by destination.

Appointments

Can't find an appointment? Let's catch an earlier date.

Schengen appointments from Turkey fill up fast: for popular countries, dates can close the moment they open, and some centres show a "waitlist" for weeks. Manually refreshing three different centre pages every day is exhausting — and usually gets you nowhere. Instead, xVisa scans all the relevant centres for you, around the clock. When a date opens, AutoBooking secures the earliest suitable appointment; you just prepare your documents and we handle the rest. We show you real data — how quickly we typically secure a slot (Booking Speed) and how far ahead the earliest date is (Appointment Lead) — rather than vague "we'll sort it fast" promises.

We do not guarantee a specific slot or date; we do not offer queue-jumping or priority slots.

Why xVisa

Why applicants from Turkey choose xVisa

Earliest appointment with AutoBooking

We compare every centre and automatically secure the first available date.

Real wait-time data

We show how long it takes to secure a slot (Booking Speed) and how far ahead the date is (Appointment Lead), using real data. Neither slot-alert apps nor traditional agencies offer this.

Document check

Every document is reviewed against consulate requirements before submission, lowering the risk of a missing or incorrect file.

Expert support

You can ask real specialists your questions throughout the process.

Fair & transparent

The same service for everyone; no queue-jumping, no priority sales, no slot trading.

Secure

Your data is encrypted with AES-256; run by an independent, UK-based company.

Fees

Fees: the Schengen visa fee and the xVisa service fee

The total cost has three parts: the consulate visa fee, the application-centre service fee, and (if you use it) the xVisa service fee.

Application-centre service fee (VFS Global / iData / BLS International / TLScontact) — Varies by centre and country — Stated on the centre's website/office.

No hidden fees.

Official fees and centre charges can change — verify on the consulate/centre website before you apply.

  • Short-stay Schengen visas are usually decided within about 15 calendar days after the appointment; in peak periods this can extend to as much as 45 days. You can apply up to 6 months before your trip. Finding an appointment is a separate matter — the real bottleneck is often the appointment, not the processing.
  • Apply as early as possible; leave a buffer.
  • In peak season (summer, public holidays) appointments get even scarcer — act early.
  • To reduce the delay on the appointment side, let xVisa monitor availability for you.
  • These times are informational and vary by consulate; they are not a guarantee.
Schengen visa fee (consulate, official)
€90
Children aged 6 to 12 pay €45, and children under 6 pay nothing.

Eligibility

Who can apply from Turkey?

Eligibility and required residence documents can vary by consulate — verify the exact list with the consulate.

You're eligible if
  • You are a Turkish citizen living in Turkey and need a short-stay (Type C) Schengen visa.
  • You hold a valid Turkish residence permit and carry another country's passport.
  • Your purpose is tourism, a business meeting, a family/friend visit or a short event.
This service isn't for you if
  • You have no legal residence in Turkey (applications are generally made from the country where you live).
  • You need a long-stay (Type D) national visa for stays over 90 days, work or study — that's a different process.

The basics

An end-to-end Schengen visa service for people living in Turkey

xVisa is an end-to-end service for short-stay Schengen visa applicants from Turkey: we find the earliest appointment, prepare your application file to consulate rules, and support you until the decision. This is not just an app that sends "slot alerts" — it's a team that stays with you across the whole application.

We are an independent service; we are not affiliated with VFS Global, iData, BLS, TLScontact or any consulate.

  • People living in Turkey travelling to the Schengen area for tourism, business, a family visit or a short event.
  • Turkish passport holders and holders of other passports with a valid Turkish residence permit.
  • Anyone struggling to find an appointment, or who wants the process done accurately and on time.

Where to apply

Which Schengen country should you apply through?

The rule is clear: apply through the consulate of your main destination — the country where you'll spend the most nights. If the nights are equal, apply to the country of first entry. If you're only transiting through a country, it doesn't count as your "main destination".

Example 1 — clear main destination

5 nights in Spain, 1 night in France → the Spanish consulate.

Example 2 — equal nights

3 nights in the Netherlands, 3 nights in Belgium, first landing in Amsterdam → the Netherlands (first entry).

Documents

Required documents (checklist) and common mistakes

The exact list varies by country and purpose of travel — always verify on the relevant consulate's website.

  • Valid passport (at least 3 months' validity after your trip, issued within the last 10 years).
  • Proof of residence in Turkey (if required).
  • A fully completed application form.
  • Travel medical insurance (minimum €30,000 cover).
  • A Schengen-standard biometric photo.
  • Round-trip flight/itinerary plan and accommodation booking.
  • Proof of funds (bank statements, etc.).
  • Letter of intent/invitation (recommended; important for business/family visits).

Most common mistakes leading to refusal

  • Insufficient or inconsistent financial documents.
  • Insurance with low cover or that doesn't cover the whole trip.
  • Accommodation/itinerary that doesn't match the application dates.
  • Applying through the wrong country (not following the main-destination rule).
  • Running out of time because the appointment was booked too late.
